RTR SPOTLIGHT INTERVIEW

|
Sarah MacLean is a relatively new voice in the historical romance field, and her novels are well respected by critics and scores of romance readers alike. Her love of history led to college degrees from Smith College and Harvard University, and that fondness of all things historical has led to her novels being well researched, with historical details and social norms interwoven flawlessly with breathtaking characterizations. MacLean’s novels have landed on the New York Times and USA Today bestseller lists, numerous romance novel awards lists. We’re happy to have Sarah with us to talk a bit about her newest novel, A Rogue by Any Other Name. |

"Edwards’ innovative culinary series continues with more tantalizing romance and tempting dishes. The drama of the competition, unexpected plot twists and a turbulent love story combine for an engaging plot. And once again, Edwards’ funny, lovable characters slice, dice and julienne their way to a satisfying conclusion. Délicieux!"

"The dialog is natural, often witty and sometimes appropriately profane. The use of humor to punctuate scenes of intense emotion is masterful. The writing is largely contemporary but turns eloquent, almost poetic at times. This is a story of hope and new beginnings. Brilliant in every way."

"Mofina keeps you on the edge of your seat in this latest thriller as the police, newspaper reporters and innocent victims all try to track down the suspects in this violent crime. The Burning Edge will keep you up into the early morning hours . . ."
|
"Espionage and diplomacy as well scripted as a Hollywood blockbuster – this series would make a great movie – make The Cocoa Conspiracy a compulsively good read. This story reads like a classic LeCarre novel, with heart pounding suspense and sword clashing action played against a plot rife with international intrigue in the Napoleonic era. Bien fait!s"

A Scandalous Countess, part of the Malloren World series, has everything from unrequited love to a good old-fashioned mystery, along with fascinating historical details. . . Intelligent, intriguing and entertaining. . ."
