Sex on the Beach

January 2010
Wedding planner Sarah McCann travels to Toucan Resort on the tropical paradise of Belize to coordinate the Valentine’s Day wedding festivities of Bella Moncrieff and Danny Trent. The romantic setting is the backdrop for three romances that unfold during the wedding weekend.
Sarah meets and romances with Freeman Lafontaine, who turns out to be the groom’s best friend, and the event’s photographer. Free is a hard core bachelor who thinks Bella is a gold-digger. He’s convinced his buddy is making a big mistake marrying her, and attempts to prove it to him by hooking her up with another man.
Professional model Tamico Sato arrives with the groom’s uncle, Zane Slade, who is a famous writer of thriller novels. They seem to be quite taken with each other, but their relationship is only an act because Zane is secretly gay, at least in public, to protect his image. This proves to be awkward when Tamico finds the resort owner to be irresistible.
Bella’s bitterly divorced parents, Giovanna and James Moncrieff, arrive separately for the event. Her mother is as radiant and passionate as ever, and her conservative, professor father is no slouch either. Reunited in a tropical paradise for their daughter’s wedding brings back old memories of that lovin’ feeling.
The sand, the surf, ocean breezes and Sex on the Beach the official cocktail of the Trent-Moncrieff wedding make for a delightful scene and a great place for romance. Sarah’s impeccable organizational skills are stretched to the max as the unpredictable guests behave more like kittens in a basket. Great premise and fun characters in a setting as sultry as their steamy liaisons. Grab a cabana and enjoy!
