So glad I found this Series: (2010-07-16) 
I am so glad I found this series. I thought the book was a perfect balance of conflict, suspense, and romance. The writing is some of the strongest I have ever read in this genre. I whole-heartedly recommend this book and this author.

Passion, Danger & a hot bodyguard......What else?: (2010-06-19) 
This is the first in the Bodyguard series and I could not wait to start reading. The suspense was good, the romance was full of passion. It was one of the best romantic suspense story I have read. I love the the bodyguard Nolan. He was a big dark teddy bear. I could not put this book down. I started it at 5:30 am and I did not put it down until I was done 11:30 pm. I had to lock myself in my room because the kids were trying to pull me away. I can't wait to read the next one. You will love this book.....

A definite page turner - great intro to a series: (2010-06-08) 
To the Edge starts off the Bodyguard series as well as introduces us to the Garrett family that runs E.D.E.N. Inc., a company that provides investigation and protection. It's named after Ethan, Dallas, Eve, and Nolan. Filled with suspense, mystery and tension, this fast paced book is Nolan's story.

Nolan Garrett is a wreck. He's six months out of the Army Rangers, an alcoholic, and is riddled with guilt for not seeing the signs that one of his charges was going through some serious psychological issues. He feels he should have seen the signs and intervened, but ultimately a good friend of his shot his wife and then killed himself. He closes himself off from the world and doesn't feel worthy of anything, so when his siblings intervene and give him an assignment, he's less than pleased. To make things worse, he's been assigned to protect wealthy Jillian Kincaid, a vapid, spoiled princess who's a local TV news celebrity. She's been receiving death threats and he's hoping he can scare her into running home to daddy as quickly as possible.

Jillian Kincaid has worked hard all her life. Being sheltered by her wealthy parents, she's not ready to give up on her hard earned independence for anything, not even death threats. She's absolutely fuming when her father hires a bodyguard to protect her and when she meets Nolan, they do not hit it off. He's mean, disrespectful, and downright crazy at times, but as she's forced to spend time with him, she realizes that he's actually quite witty, dependable and caring. Needless to say, these two form an attraction to one another but their professionalism manages to keep them apart for most of the book. As Jillian continues her news investigations and tends to her social functions, Nolan realizes that she's nothing like what he assumed. She's smart, sexy, funny and unfortunately in danger. Someone wants her dead, but who and why is the mystery.

Faced paced, sexy, and funny at times, this book was completely entertaining. I totally agree with some of the other reviewers that it isn't as much a romance. I mean how many times can you see someone you're extremely attracted to stepping out of the shower and not get it on? Evidently, almost 250 pages worth of times! Regardless, Jillian is the perfect match for Nolan and she ends up taking matters into her own hands more times than not to get things done. There's also just enough red herrings and subplots to keep you guessing at who the villain is. A great introduction and would have been five stars if Jillian and Nolan spent a little more time balancing romance into the mix.

Action, steamy: (2010-03-31) 
Its good, has some action. Very quick plot. Quick and easy read.

Characters are a little hard to believe and their love moves so fast it was hard to believe and get into.

Nolan Garrett and Clare Kincaid: (2009-08-30) 
Wes Garrett had established his private security firm fifteen years ago E.D.E.N. Security, Inc.. E.D.E.N. being an acronym for his children's initials - Ethan, Dallas, Eve, and Nolan.

Nolan Garrett is the baby in the family. He is a former Staff Sergeant, U.S. Army Airborne Ranger until he retired. Darin Kincaid, Jillian Kincaid's father, requested him to become her bodyguard. She was being stalked and threaten.

This book surprised me; when I read the product description I wasn't real sure what to expect. This series has now been added to my must read.
